Wanda Moore

“Hello, my name is Mary but I am better known as Wanda. My true calling is working with people in the mental health field. I am a strong advocate for positive change & willing to go that extra step in assisting the people we serve. I have worked in the field for 4 years and have acquired an abundance of experience. I feel as though I am here to help make a positive difference in the lives of the ones we serve.”

Wanda Moore is gradually stepping into her new role as our kitchen manager… after stepping up to being a part-time counselor… after being hired as a driver in spring 2011.  She spent every spare moment when not driving helping out in the computer lab, in the community room, and with classes.  We eventually realized that she was quite talented in a variety of ways and kept expanding her duties.

Wanda blesses us with several years of paperwork and office organizational experience, managed care facility shift management, and residential counselor experience with the ARC.

Wanda was a unit secretary with Johns Hopkins Bayview for a little over 20 years. Since then she has worked as a support counselor with the ARC, and as a resident assistant and assistant manager with Brightview Assisted Living and Hummingbird Manor respectively.

She has a degree in business management from Community College of Baltimore.
