Darwayne Moran Sr.
I was born in Floyd County, VA and I have lived in Maryland since I was 3 years old. I grew up in Kingsville, MD, went to public schools in Baltimore County, and graduated in 1957 from Parkville High School. I have spent most of my adult life as an industrial maintenance mechanic, foreman, or maintenance superintendent. I retired from Gold Bond Building Products and Imery Limestone. I spent 6 years with the Maryland National Guard, and discharged at the rank of staff sargent. I was a member of the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Department for 8-10 years. I was an assistant scout leader for Troop 779 until my sons grew-up. I have 2 grown sons and 2 grown grandsons ages 20 and 23. I have been married to the same woman for 52 years and I would not change anything in my life. I enjoy surf fishing, camping, cooking on grills, working, and talking to people in all walks of life. I am looking forward to the position of part-time driver at Key Point as this gives me something to do while hopefully helping other people.
