Bob Dempsey

Robert Dempsey, a New Jersey native, moved to Maryland two years ago after retiring from 25 years of truck driving.  Robert began his driving career in 1962 when he served as a medic for the United States Army.  He drove an ambulance through the busy streets of New York City to Fort Jay Hospital on Governor’s Island.  Robert also owned a successful food service business for approximately ten years.  He has worked as a bus driver and and with handicapped children.  Still an avid Philadelphia sports fan, Robert enjoys spending his free time visiting with his nine grandchildren and taking an occasional trip back to New Jersey to see his friends, family, and stopping by his favorite bakery in Collingswood, NJ for his beloved danish.
